Выдержка из комментария автора: After watching the first episode of Mekakucity Actors, I wanted to make AMV that likened Ene to either some form of virus. After watching the rest of the series, it seemed to be a better fit to compare her to Apple's Siri program. For those who don't know, Siri is the "intelligent personal assistant" built into to iPhone models 4S and later - It is voice activated and responds to commands and queries. Had trouble finding a decent song to use for this concept as there were fewer Siri parody songs than I thought I'd have to choose from. It's mean to say I settled on this song, but I really was hoping for more Siri quotes to lip sync to. Otherwise it works really well.

Author's comment: Many months ago, around the time of Fruitless Loop I promised someone I would make a personal, dedicated AMV to her. I have no right to re-imagine other people's feelings but I wanted to make a Grisaia reaction video, so most of the effort went into altering the gloomy source material to create something a bit more cheerful or at least hopeful. The original concept was to have all the other girls censored out but it didn't look so nice in the end. The message remains.

Author's comment: So hey, remember how I used to edit AMVs once upon a time? Well, I've worked out my technical issues and now I finally can again. Hurray. However, this also means it's been 2 years since I last edited an AMV. So I'm a little rusty. Maybe more than a little.

In all seriousness, yes, it's been a long time since I edited an AMV and I don't really know what makes a good or bad AMV, and I'd really appreciate any feedback you guys can give to help me improve. I learned a lot of technical stuff editing this video (and still have a lot more to learn, RIP me) but I don't know how to help myself improve on the actual editing.

As for the video itself, because it was my first AMV in so long I wanted to edit with something I would really enjoying working with. Mushishi is my favourite anime, and has been for years, and I was super excited to finally get to edit with it. That, and 2014 was a beautiful year that gave us 2 new seasons of Mushishi AND 2 specials. And there's still one more coming out this year. Hallelujah. I really liked working with this song because it's very soothing but something about it really unsettles me as well, which made it very fun to match it up with some of the stranger and darker scenes of Mushishi. There isn't much to it, but I hope you enjoy!

ZonaAMV invites everyone to take part in 6th annual online contest GoldAMV. In this contest each participant takes the challenge of editing an AMV in a pre-selected genre (one single genre, different for every year). It's a good chance to try yourself in a new creative field) This year's category in Romance/Sentimental. You have quite a lot of time for editing: submission deadline is August 10th, 2015. The contest is opened for exclusive entries only!

There will be two winners (Judge's choice and Audience choice).Winners' videos will be shared in studio' social networks and published both on ZonaAMV website and in Hall of fame.

Одесса) приглашают всех желающих принять участие в конкурсе AMV в рамках фестиваля. К участию допускаются клипы, созданные не позднее 2014 года и ранее не занимавшие призовых мест на каких-либо конкурсах. Каждый участник может представить до 3 конкурсных работ. 

Заявки на конкурс принимаются с 23 мая до 5 Июля 2015 года.

Для победителей конкурса предусмотрены призы. Главный приз - сертификат на сумму в 500 грн. на покупку аниме-фигурки в магазине Game Prize Magic.

Author's comment: My video that I made for AWA Pro 2013 (yes, almost a year ago). As many people know, I am notoriously slow at releasing videos. >> After AWA, I totally slacked off and didn't work on this for months, and it really did take me this long to pick it back up and finish it. There's still a few things that bother me and I'd like to fix, but frankly, I just need to get this off of my computer. Anyway, this idea had been in the back of my mind for awhile, but I hadn't had the chance to create it due to being busy with contests and such. Ever since I saw Paper Route live like a year and a half ago, I had wanted to showcase their music (seriously, go check them out, they are amazing), and after watching Toradora! the idea for this video came together really easily. My main goal was to make something that had a good mix of the goofy, as well as emotional/dramatic aspects of Ryuuji and Taiga's relationship. I adore these two characters, and this show, and I hope I did them/it justice. Enjoy!
